Tomato, Pesto Pizza


  • Traditional pie crust (your favorite recipe or pre-made crust)
  • Arugula walnut pesto:
    • arugula
    • walnut
    • fresh garlic
    • lemon juice
    • evoo
    • salt
    • pepper
    • crushed red pepper
  • Sliced heirloom tomatoes
  • Goat cheese


  1. Blend together ingredients for arugula walnut pesto.
  2. Spread on free form traditional pie crust, leaving space to fold over the edges, add sliced heirloom tomatoes and goat cheese
  3. Egg wash the edges of the crust once folded
  4. Bake 375 for approximately 25 minutes. Remove from oven.
  5. Top with fresh basil
