- Traditional pie crust (your favorite recipe or pre-made crust)
- Arugula walnut pesto:
- fresh garlic
- lemon juice
- crushed red pepper
- Sliced heirloom tomatoes
- Goat cheese
- Blend together ingredients for arugula walnut pesto.
- Spread on free form traditional pie crust, leaving space to fold over the edges, add sliced heirloom tomatoes and goat cheese
- Egg wash the edges of the crust once folded
- Bake 375 for approximately 25 minutes. Remove from oven.
- Top with fresh basil
